‘Just wanted to post about this lovely care home. My Mum spent a few years living at The Haven. She was the happiest we had seen her, staff loved her and you could tell she loved them back, they were warm, friendly, kind and saw to all the needs my Mum had. As a large family we all felt welcome to visit at any time of the day, it was like walking into your family home, and having an ear to listen when things got tough.

Nearing the end of my Mum's life we were allowed to stay with her, we were never made to feel in the way, the staff were amazing and it allowed us to deal with Mum's passing so much easier, nothing was to much trouble.

If you need to place a loved one somewhere I highly recommend The Haven they will be well looked after.

Thank you to all the staff who do a wonderful job.’

To all the staff at The Haven:

' We are all touched beyond words for the way you all cared for P*** and made the past years of her life as good as it could be.

We are also grateful for your support and kindness to us all in the last days of P***’s life.

Thank you from all P***’s family '

‘My husband B**** went into The Haven for respite care in January. B**** was given excellent care. Harriet and her team listened  to my concerns/needs for B****, and because of this he settled so well. They have brought back his sense of humour and fun. I have placed him before in large/hotel style homes but they were unable to give the warmth/empathy and care shown at ‘The Haven’. Because of this B**** is now staying with ‘The Haven’ for residential care. Thankyou for all your hard work.’

My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was under very poor care for a considerable amount of time. After a long stay in Bath hospital we were offered a placement at The Haven Care Home, Littleton, Pannel, Devizes. Since then she has put on weight, looks happy and content. The staff are always on hand day and night and meals are cooked by the staff on-sight and tea and coffee served at all times. The staff are trained to A1 standards and are very committed to care and support. I will recommend this care home to anyone.

' Under new ownership, The Haven has proved to be an exemplary care home in my mind. My father moved there in June 2012 and the care he received just couldn't have been bettered. I will never be able to thank them enough for helping to make his days there pleasurable and happy. Besides the excellent personal care, it's also a lovely building and Dad had a lovely view of the garden from his room. It was so heart warming to see dad smile, happy in the knowledge that he was amongst people that cared.'
